Tryout Clinic
TRYOUT CLINIC: Tues, April 30, Wed. May 1, and Thurs, May 2nd from 5:30-7:00pm
Where: Rally stage at Trabuco Hills HS (by the lunch tables)
This is when you will learn the tryout cheer and dance. Please wear athletic clothes and shoes.
Fundraiser Clinic Registration: The cost is $30 donation to attend. Includes Clinic & Tryout Bow. You can pay via PayPal/credit card, cash/check or Zelle. If you would like to avoid the paypal fees pay you can pay by Zelle our account is: thhspepsquadcotreasurer@gmail.com
(If you opted to pay by cash or check, this is due on the first day of Clinic)
*Please note that you do not need to register as a user with our website to checkout.
**Tryout Clinic is not Mandatory however highly recommended to learn tryout material.

When: Friday, May 3, 2024.
Time: approx. 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Times will be given at clinics
Where: Trabuco Hills HS AUX GYM
**This is a closed tryout. Parents are not allowed to watch.
We will be using third party Judges.
Please plan accordingly. No exceptions will be made if you are late to tryout due to traffic or no parking!
*CHEER TRYOUT ATTIRE ONLY: Plain white shirt, plain navy blue shorts, and athletic shoes (preferably white). White bow is optional, but recommended.
*SONG TRYOUT ATTIRE ONLY: Plain white shirt, plain navy blue fitted shorts, slicked back low ponytail, and jazz (or half-sole) shoes. Please bring athletic shoes too.
RESULTS!
Will be posted approximately 10:00 p.m. on May 3rd, on our Social Media sites such as Instagram, Facebook as well as our Website under the News & Announcements!

Mandatory when you make the team and due by first practice on May 7th

Student Eligibility
Scholastic/Academic Requirement (Pursuant to SVUSD Policy AR 6145.1)
- Student must qualify for try-outs with an overall 2.0 G.P.A. based on
the previous 3rd quarter / 2nd trimester grading period. - Student must maintain 2.0 or higher G.P.A in order to remain eligible.
- If a student does not maintain a 2.0 G.P.A in the previous grading
period, the student is ineligible to participate in extra class activities for the next grading period. - A grading period is one quarter.
- If a student earns one F and their overall G.P.A is a 2.0, the student will remain eligible. A student who earns two Fs in one grading period is ineligible.
- Students may NOT exercise the option of a probationary period in
order to qualify for the selection process. A student may, however, request to utilize the probationary rule during their term if they become ineligible and do not have more than one U in citizenship standard. Failure to meet the G.P.A standards in subsequent regular grading periods will result in disqualification for the remainder of the term.
B. Citizenship Eligibility - Any student who receives two or more Us in Citizenship in any
grading period is ineligible. Must provide official report card / printed transcript
C. Residency/School Choice - Students must qualify for try-outs with proof of residency and/or prior
SVUSD approval for School Choice.
D. Athletic Clearance - Once selected, all Pep Squad members must meet the athletic clearance
Requirements which include but are not limited to: Proof of insurance
FUNDRAISER: Shirt
Shirt will be available after tryouts for purchase for $20.
Welcome to the Team Celebration
Each team will celebrate with fun activities. Party date will be May 4th.
